LED Walls
Two Ways to Make a Wall Disappear
When a venue wants an LED wall that isn't present part of the time — to reveal a window, mural, or the room itself — there are exactly two engineering strategies: roll the screen up (rollable LED) or fly/strike a static rigid wall on a motorized lift. The TD's job is to match the strategy to the room and budget, not to be sold a fragile novelty or an over-built rig. The governing question is fly clearance: if there is ceiling height to hoist a wall clear of the window, a static wall on chain motors is usually cheaper, more reliable, and more serviceable; rollable wins only when there is no fly clearance or the clean roll-away look is itself the point.
